Mr. Dickey has 36 years of experience in structural engineering with an emphasis on the inspection, analysis, and design of highway bridges, industrial buildings, overhead craneways, and special structures. Prior to joining LA Gates Company, Mr. Dickey was Manager, Structural Services for a large consulting firm in Rochester, New York supervising design and preparation of contract documents for new bridges and bridge rehabilitations in several states. He served as Project Manager for the $50M Stutson Street Bascule Bridge replacement project. This multi-disciplined effort involved supervision of 5 sub consultants as well as in-house staff in three offices. He also served as Project Manager for all structural work on the new $65 million Corning Bypass, which included 12 new bridges, a pedestrian tunnel and two hydraulic structures. The historic Main St bridge over Keuka Lake Outlet restoration project, that he managed, won an AASHTO Award in 1999. For several years Mr. Dickey also directed the efforts in the City of Rochester's bridge program, which involves the annual inspection, rating, repair and maintenance of some 40 bridges and tunnels under sole and shared ownership of the City.

Prior to his tenure in consulting engineering, he was a Senior Consulting Engineer with Bethlehem Steel Corp., involved in the analysis, rehabilitation, and design of many overhead craneways, heavy industrial buildings, bridges and various steel plant equipment components.
